Went to the Laywine's store clearance yesterday with Ray and Jeff. Thanks to Ray for telling us about the event! Laywine is a wonderful stationery/notebook store in the Yorkville area. Everything in the store was 10% off! I bought three hardcover blank books to use for my paper journal after my current book is filled. Ray gets as excited about paperclips and paper and notebooks and pens as Jeff and I do. :-)

Afterward, Jeff and I went to Vartan's place to hang out with Vartan, his brother Hrach, John Pastor, and Julie (Vartan's wife). Vartan made me my first martini: chocolate cherry, yum. Pictures and details in an upcoming Blathering.
