Is this comic really an accurate depiction of your life?

The comic is loosely based on events that have occurred and are occurring in my life. Sometimes VERY loosely.

Your strips come out so sporadically. Can't you stick to a regular schedule?

Nope, sorry. Sometimes you'll find strips coming out every day, and other times they will be separated by weeks or months. It depends entirely on what's going on in my life; sometimes I'd rather actually live my life rather than draw it. :-)

If you'd like to get an e-mail notice whenever I post a new strip, please sign up here.

Why does the style of your comic sometimes change so much strip to strip?

Because the strip is sort of like a virtual doodle playground for me. I like experimenting with different styles and layouts; I know my strip is not commercially marketable, but that's ok...I do it for fun. :-)

What do you use to make your strip?

I do everything using Corel Painter 8 and a Wacom Artpad, on my Powerbook G4.

Hey, I'm a friend of yours. How come I've never appeared in your strip?

Maybe I think you'll be offended. Or I can't think a way of drawing you that won't offend you. Or I don't like you. Or you're too complicated to draw.

Or (most likely) I just haven't gotten around to a strip I think would be appropriate. Don't bug me about it or you'll make an appearance in my strip that is more...er... memorable than you expected.

What else do you do?

Could you give a summary of regular characters?

The following list will be updated over time, and I also plan to add character reference graphics.

    Debbie - me.
    Jeff - my husband.
    Parki - friend.
    Ruth - my sister.
    Luisa - friend.
Allison - friend, one of my music partners in Urban Tapestry.
Jodi - friend, my other music partner.

    Older strips:
    Tom - co-worker.
    Natalie - co-worker.
    Lyle - my supervisor.
