Where can I find your older Inkygirl comics?

You can find some in my archives below:

Page 1 - Page 2 - Page 3

Or you can see a more up-to-date collection of all the comics in thumbnail format here.

I love your comics! Can I buy a print compilation?

Eventually, yes. If you'd like to be notified when a print compilation is available, please do let me know.

Where can I find your other comics?

At http://www.debbieohi.com/illus/comics.html.

Where do the Inkygirl writing comics come from?

I come up with the ideas and then create the comics using Corel Painter, a digital drawing program.

Can I re-post them in my non-profit writing blog/site?

Yes, under the following conditions:

  • Your site is non-commercial site (e.g. not making ANY income, including advertising programs like Google Adsense)
  • Your site does not use frames.
  • You include an appropriate credit and link back to Inkygirl.com. In the credit, please include the following info:
    • My name: Debbie Ridpath Ohi
    • Link to inkygirl: <a href="http://www.inkygirl.com/">Inkygirl</a>
  • You don't post more than two of my comics a month.
  • You let me know when you do this, with a URL of the page where you post my comic.

If you make money through your site or plan to post my comics more than twice a month, please see the bottom of this page re: licensing fees.

Do you mind if I print out your comic and put it up on my wall?

Sure, feel free to print it out for personal use. Someday I plan to have prints available, and may even put these comics into a book form. When that day comes, I'd very much appreciate you considering making a purchase. Meanwhile, please do tell your friends about Inkygirl! And do consider buying something from my CafePress store. :-)

Can I re-post them in my non-profit print newsletter or magazine?

Yes, on the following conditions:

  • You let me know.
  • Your organization is non-profit.
  • You're not using more than two comics in one issue.
  • Do not modify the image except for re-sizing.
  • Please include my name (Debbie Ridpath Ohi) and URL (http://www.inkygirl.com or Inkygirl.com) in a text credit on the same page as the image.
  • Please send me a copy of the work in which my comic was published:

    Toronto, ON
    M4R 2H6

If your publication is for profit, please see the bottom of this page about licensing fees.

Do you have a higher resolution version of your comic available?

Possibly. Please e-mail me with as much info as you can, including exactly which cartoon (you can find the ID code beneath the image in my archives). It may take a little while if I'm very busy. Unless you're paying me, of course. :-)

Can I re-post one of your comics in a mailing list, newsgroup or message board?

No. Please include a link to the comic instead, thanks. If possible, please also send me an e-mail letting me know you've done so....the e-mail isn't necessary, but I'd appreciate knowing about the publicity. :-)

If your organization is for profit, please see the bottom of this page about licensing fees.

Could you modify one of your comics for me?

I may be able make minor modifications (e.g. removing "Inkygirl.com" text, for example), customizing the hair colour or other features of a character to match someone you know, etc., depending on the how I stored the original file...older files may not be so easily modified. Please e-mail me with the details, including the ID code of the comic (in the archives, each comic has an ID code just beneath the image). Fee amount will be determined by how much work the change is going to take.

Could you create a custom-made comic for me?

Sure. Please e-mail me with as much info as you can, and I'll give you an estimate.

What are your licensing fees?

Please e-mail me with the following info:

  • The URL of your site/blog or publication (if one exists).
  • The purpose of your site/blog or publication.
  • Estimated circulation.
  • Which comic or comics you'd like to use. Please include the ID code number(s), which you can find beneath each image in my archives.
  • How you plan to use my comic.
