For those looking for paying freelance writing opportunities, Freelancewriting.com has a message board that looks as if it's updated relatively frequently. Users can post their own listings; in most situations like this, you'll often get inappropriate listings being posted despite the "paying opportunities only" warning at the top of the page, but either users are being unusually good about adhering to the posting rules or the Webmaster is diligent about weeding out bad posts.
