Humor Writers Sought

Edgy, underground humor magazine for guys (national distribution) is now making commitments to writers to accept and pay for material for Issue #3.

The rates are modest for now due to the current growth stage (and our scrappy upstart status) so we're willing to consider paying for previously published material. You will retain all copyrights and reprint rights to your work. Plus, writers get national exposure in this glossy full-color, hip humor
magazine.

We consider almost any form, including prose up to 2000 words max.
(4 pages), short pieces like gags, charts, pranks, spoofs, poems, phone call transcripts, etc. Especially welcome are pieces in the vein of
National Lampoon or Spy Magazine, i.e. parody, satire, irony, goofs,
etc.

Will also accept one panel or multi panel cartoons.

Primarily seeking edgy, subversive humor geared towards a male
audience, i.e. South Park, Chappelle's Show, MAD TV, etc.

But definitely NO "Onion-type" news article parodies please.

Simply email your submissions, either in the body of the email
(preferred), or as an attachment. If we're interested in it, we'll
reply back to you about a reprint agreement.

Those ARE the submission guidelines. We don't currently require a signed release prior to submittals for consideration, so please don't email simply to
ask about submissions or to ask for permission. Just make it.

Job location is anywhere

Compensation: Varies based on the submission format, length, etc. but generally $50-$150 per piece.
