New cooking magazine seeks writers

"COOKING SMART, a new national print magazine launching in January 2005, is looking for a few vibrant and creative food writers!

...We are seeking articles that are based on research and interviews with experts, chefs and "real people" who love to cook or are dieting. On average, our full-length print features run anywhere from 800 to 1200 words, for which we generally pay $150-250, depending on the subject, complexity, depth and your experience. Short features are typically 400 to 600 words, for which we pay $75 to $150 (again, depending on factors mentioned)."
