(Updated Oct. 26, 2003)
I want to read from the beginning of the comic. Where do I start?
Why did you begin this comic?
I began this comic strip after reading Lord of the Rings
for the first time in 2001; many thanks to my friend Allison Durno inspiring me to finally
read the book! Thanks also to all of you who have posted comments, suggestions, and
ideas for future strips.
Can't you post strips on a regular schedule?
Sorry, no. I create this comic for entertainment...both mine and that of other
people. I do it for fun, not pay, and sometimes my real life schedule is such
that I can't post on a regular basis. If you'd like to be notified when new
strips come out, please ask to be
put on the mailing list.
How long will it run?
I was going to end it when the first movie came out, but the response to the strip has
been so overwhelming (thank you!!) that I've decided to keep it going until the
third movie.
How do you create it?
With Fractal Painter and a Wacom Artpad.
Is anyone (other than avid Tolkien fans) reading it?
What else do you do?
What can I do to show my support?
If you like my comic strip, please do consider showing your support in any of the following ways:
- Sending me e-mail letting me
know you like the comic. :-)
- Buying my music group's new CD, which includes my song,
Waiting For Frodo.
- Telling a friend about the strip.
- Mentioning the comic on your Web site, fan mailing list, or newsletter.
Hey, you're making fun of Harry Potter / Star Trek / Star Wars / Matrix etc. fans!
For the record, I am a -major- fan of the Harry Potter books
(I've just finished writing my first Harry Potter song for my
music group!), Star Wars, The Matrix AND Star Trek (TV Guide printed the
lyrics to my
geeky fangirl Star Trek: The Next Generation song in
one of their Star Trek Commemorative Editions).
I still have (feeble) hopes for the next Star Wars movie despite my
disappointment with Phantom Menace and Clones.

Thanks for your support!
