It was followed by the pic of Sam sitting by his sign with Pippin and the adress www.waitingforfrodo.com and Rosie's pic. We taped it to the door of the theater ans stood outsid in the wind as it started raining and people started arriving. A bunch of people were interested in the sign, so of course we told them all about Waiting for Frodo! We called ourselves the offical WFF delegates to Woodstock, IL....(hope you don't mind!) We also had Go Weta and We Love You Shane posters. We got many looks, dressed up as elves, but hey, they were just jealous!"

"i love your Waiting For Frodo comics! they rock and i totally love reading them! i'm a huge fan of LOTR too (Pip's my fave) and been to see TTT 8 times. each time i waited for Shane's name, much to the annoyance of the theatre people who kept giving me dirty looks, cos by the time they get to Weta Digital, the cinema's empty and the guys cant start to clean up till i leave too! made most of them jump by suddenly cheering at the sight of Shane's name and got even more dirty looks! LOL!

"This may seem late, but the first time The Two Towers played here was yesterday - Jan. 3rd, on the US Marines base. Unfortunately, we did not manage to spot Shane's name.... however....TODAY - we DID cheer for Shane - even though my family of 5, plus 2 friends, were the only ones left in the theater by the time his name came up! You could have warned us as to how far into the credits his name appears! :-) We will be cheering from now on... and we intend to see the movie several more times when it plays at our (Air Force) base, and also when it opens "downtown" in Japan, in late February! :-)
I also want you to know that I was the first person in line (5 hours prior to movie time) and proudly wearing my "WaitingForFrodo.com" sweatshirt, which was a Christmas gift from my best friend - who I've also turned on to your strip !
I love your characters, and I can't wait to see what Sam thought of The Two Towers!"

After the movie ended we sat through the credits giggling because everyone was getting out and gave us weird looks as we showed no signs of moving... we were scared that we would miss him so we all kep our eyes on the screen and shouted out every time the word weta came on... searching the screen after some interesting minutes WE SAW SHANE!!!!!! so ofcourse we clapped and cheered and screamed go shane!!!!!! unfortunatly there was no one to give us weird looks or anything as the only person left was a cleaner... but i'm sure every one heard us outside anyway and wondered what the racket was! I'm sure we will go back and cheer again soon!"
